What is IQ?
IQ is a business intelligence system that helps you for developing dynamic reports and data analyze documents on SQL Server systems. Those documents are special XML formed tree based structures and consist of dynamic t-sql and vb-scripts that interpreted and executed by IQ engine. IQ documents don't consist of regular t-sql sentences, they are dynamic sentences that creates regular t-sql and vbscripts sentences at execution time.
IQ is an interactive query system. Because it
- interacts with user via its parameterized structures, and
- interacts with other IQ documents via its include mechanism, and
- interacts with itself via its tree based and parameterized structures, and
- interacts with non sql systems with its vb scripting mechanism
